Personal & Professional
Care

We offer several services to help manage your chronic kidney disease, anemia, and dialysis if needed.

Office visits for new and established patients

With a focus on quality service and personalized care, Nephrology Associates, PA evaluates and treats new and established patients in our seven clinic locations.  It is important to keep all scheduled appointments as this time allows our providers to evaluate your kidney function and other labs.  Adjustments to medications may also be made at these appointments.

Office visits for recently hospitalized patients

After being hospitalized, our physicians may choose to schedule a follow up appointment to ensure that your kidney function remains stable.  These appointments are also focused on making sure any medication changes that were made during your hospitalization are correct and that you understand the changes that were made.

 Retacrit Injections

For our patients diagnosed with chronic kidney disease as well as anemia, we offer Procrit and Retacrit injections.  These injections are used for the treatment of anemia with chronic renal failure.  Frequent blood tests are needed to determine the correct dose.

We are pleased to announce the launch of our in-house kidney disease education class called "Keeping it Renal."  In this class you will learn about: kidney failure and what happens when your kidneys don't work correctly; other health problems that can happen as a result of having kidney failure; treatment options; lifestyle changes you can expect and how to cope with them; how changes to your diet affect your kidneys and overall health; and insurance options.  This course is targeted to patients with stage 4 or stage 5 chronic kidney disease and is taught in a group setting by our own nurse practitioners.  Please let our clinical staff know if you'd like more information, or to sign up for a class.
